The Agkalia Zois organization signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Cyprus
The Agkalia Zois organization had the honor today of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Cyprus, laying the foundations for a collaboration with a significant social impact.
With quality education at the forefront, we will do what is necessary to cultivate a sense of social innovation, contribution, and sensitivity in the areas of cultural knowledge and selflessness.
We warmly thank the Student Affairs and Welfare Service and the Student Life Office for their trust and excellent cooperation.

The organization “Agkalia Zois” is pleased to announce its cooperation with the Pancyprian Coordinating Council for Volunteerism.
Through our cooperation we are institutionalizing modern practices both in the issues of Student Scholarships given by the organization “Agkalia Zois” and in the annual support during the Easter and Christmas holidays.
The operation of programmes with services provided will help to modernise and strengthen social cohesion in both emergency and complementary needs.

Digital Up bringing Community Partnership
On November 16, 2023, the first formal meeting between the “Center for Social Innovation” of the Foundation “Mikroi Iroes” and the “Agkalia Zois” Organization took place.
In the framework of the “Digital Upbringing Project”
we exchanged views on issues of common interest in terms of digital upbringing of children and information initiatives as well as possible ways of future cooperation.

Cooperation with the “Business Management Office of the University of Cyprus
The organization Agkalia Zois is pleased to announce the cooperation with the “Business Management Office of the University of Cyprus”
It is with pride and excitement that we announce our cooperation with the “University of Cyprus Business Management Office” for the housing and office facilities of the organization “Agkalia Zois”. After approval from the Business Office, the organization “Agkalia Zois” will be housed on campus with modern offices in an easily accessible space with all the necessary technological services in the shopping centre.
“At the University of Cyprus and specifically at the Social Activities Centre there is a Shopping Centre which houses a number of shops and catering facilities. In the buildings of the Social Activities Centre there are well-equipped classrooms, lobbies as well as outdoor and other indoor spaces available for use. Conferences, seminars and various other events may be organised in these areas, in accordance with the “Policy for the Management of Halls and other areas of the University of Cyprus for the organisation of events”.
Indeed as a newly established organisation we consider the above cooperation as the most important since the day of our foundation. In December 2023 we had the opportunity to start planning the configuration of our offices and the results have been excellent, not only in terms of facilities but also in terms of attracting students and administrative/academic and academic staff, enrolling more than 200 new people in the organization “Agkalia Zois”.
In addition, we established cooperation for student internships with specific departments and managed to get the youth even more involved in social service and the strengthening of positive psychology in civil society.
All of the above would not have been possible if we had not had the full support of the Commercial Activities Management Department and specifically of the head of the Department, Mr. Athos Chryssafis. On behalf of the Board of Directors of “Agkalia Zois”, as a minimum reward, we announce prizes of €150 to the best graduate of the Department of Social and Political Sciences in Sociology, €150 to the best graduate of the Department of Psychology and €150 to the best graduate of the Master’s degree in School Psychology.
